We are Semi rural set on 8 acres, Totara Cottage was built in the 70s as a workers cottage for the then Totara Vineyard.
A self contained, stand alone one bedroom cottage, which has been recently renovated, retaining its charm in the process. The original 2 bay milking shed on the property dates back to 1945.

This 1 Bedroom Cottage provides accommodation with Fireplace/Heating, Barbecue/Outdoor Cooking, Laundry, for your convenience. Summary: Great communication with the hosts. This little cottage is an absolute delight for a romantic weekend! It was quiet & private with more than enough provided to ensure a comfy cosy stay. Breakfast included a range of tea & coffee choices along with orange juice, muesli, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt & croissants. Located close to a number of wedding venues & dining options, plus the spectacular Waitakere Ranges with its black sand beaches. We took the relaxing 20 minute drive out to Muriwai Beach to see the wave riders & a magical sunset. A definite favourite!
